Welcome to Union County SAR
We are an all volunteer group serving Union County in Northeast Oregon. Our volunteers are trained to state search and rescue standards and complete required training annually. Members have specialized training in rope rescue, tracking, avalanche rescue, search management, and other areas. Our team is equipped for over snow extractions with a rescue sled and snowmobiles. Missions occur year round in a variety of environments and we frequently assist our neighboring counties through mutual aid agreements.

UCSAR meets on the first Monday of each month. Those interested in membership should contact us for more information about meeting times and locations. We conduct new-member training in January or February each year. Please contact us if you are interested in joining.
